Lecturer Harun İlçioğlu and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feyza Altınkamış from the project team visited Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Turkey's Permanent Representative to the European Union, in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, and provided comprehensive information about the project. The meeting began with a detailed presentation on the project's objectives, current status, and future activities.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the main goal of the Language Tree Project is to support the teaching of Turkish as a heritage and foreign language, to develop innovative methods in this field, and to highlight the importance of multilingualism. The project team shared the work carried out and the achievements obtained so far with Ambassador Faruk Kaymakçı. Special attention was given to the international dimension of the project, stressing the importance of collaborations and activities conducted in different countries.
Harun İlçioğlu and Feyza Altınkamış also provided information about one of the project's dissemination activities, the International Symposium on Teaching Turkish as a Heritage and Foreign Language.
