Visit to the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities

An important visit was made to the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) to promote and expand the Language Tree Project. The visit was attended by Lecturer Harun İlçioğlu, Lecturer Zehra Kum, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hüküm. The delegation met with YTB Deputy Chairman Abdulhadi Turus to provide detailed information about the project.

The meeting took place at the YTB Headquarters in Ankara. During the meeting, a comprehensive presentation was made about the goals, objectives, and activities carried out so far of the Language Tree Project. Project Coordinator Harun İlçioğlu discussed the successes achieved since the beginning of the project and the planned future activities.

Project Steering Committee Chair Zehra Kum provided information about the events organized within the scope of the project and their impact on Turkish communities abroad. Kum stated that the project aims to raise awareness not only in the academic community but also among wider society.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hüküm highlighted the international dimension of the Language Tree Project, emphasizing the collaborations carried out in different countries and their contributions to the project. Hüküm expressed that this meeting with YTB was an important step for the project and that more collaborations could be made in the future.

YTB Deputy Chairman Abdulhadi Turus expressed his appreciation for the goals and activities of the Language Tree Project. Turus stated that YTB would be pleased to support such projects aimed at Turkish communities abroad. The meeting concluded with an exchange of ideas about future joint activities and projects.

The officials of the Language Tree Project emphasized the importance of such visits and collaborations for the project's success, thanking YTB for their hospitality. It was noted that efforts targeting Turkish communities abroad would continue at full speed within the scope of the project.
